Default Lowering Springs for SC400

Have any of you ever used Tanabe NF210 springs (which is made specifically for SC300) for your SC400? The manufacturer advertised they will lower the front 1.0" and the rear 0.4". However, my SC's rear lowers 1.5". I gotta use the whole OEM bump stop so that it'll raise the rear another 0.5" to be leveled with the front. Do you have any same problem as mine? Please let me know. Thanks.

NF210 springs arent madefor SC's, just Supras I believe. If you got the Supra ones, then they will lower the supra 1"/.4", but will lower the SC about 1.7"/1.1" ...

You will need Supra Struts to run a supra spring. If my knowledge is correct, the supra struts have a different spring mount than the SC struts.

Once this is donem your car should even out.

Nope, believe me Im running supra eibachs on supra tt shocks. The advertised drop for the supra is something like 1.3", but on my SC it ended up dropping my car about 2 inches or more. Also, you can not mix and match SC and supra shocks and springs.

SC springs + SC shocks = Advertised drop for SC

Supra springs + Supra shocks = Advertised drop for Supra plus ~.7"

SC springs + Supra shocks = Dont work

Supra springs + SC shocks = Dont work

Tanabe made some specifically for the SC300. I saw the box at Todd's awhile ago when he took my Espelirs out. Anyone try them yet?

I bought these NF210 for my SC400 at www.tmengineering.net, but I don't recommend anyone to go to that place due to their bad customer service. However, one can go to www.lexuspros.com to get all stuff for your SC. These Tanabe NF210 fit perfectly on my SC400. However, I had to use the whole bump stop (without cutting it) on the rear and I had to cut 1/2 coil in the front. This way, the car looks even between fender gaps and handles just perfect like a true coilover setup. Also, I had to use Tokico shocks with them. The total costs me $490. I haven't used the Tein basic coilover, which costs about $700, but I think they're affordable and might give a good ride. Give it a shot and let me know!
