Old springs for use with new shocks, is a no go. You can actually use them but since they aren't a well matched pair, I wouldn't use them for long or expect them to last very long.

I had all 4 shocks and springs changed out for $200 but that was a hook up and many places quoted me $400-$600 for all four wheels.

I believe you can DIY if you have the proper tools, but I don't do that type of work on my car, cuz I'd tear it up. I want it done right, so I have no problem paying for that.

I believe one of the vendors has the springs on sale for $89 and the other has the shocks for under $200. It's a great deal, but I still say save up for coilovers. I spent $200 on the install, $50 as a tip, $100 on springs, $150 on shocks.....and a couple weeks more, I could have saved enough to get Tein CS with EDFC, but I was impatient and wanted the drop NOW.........you live and learn.......

get coilovers, and leave S/S alone. You'll be much happier in the long run.

.

I'd have no problem with paying $200 bucks for that either. My dealer wants $500 plus $130 for alignment.!!

Dealer quoted me something like that as well. I said a few profanities and told them were to go and gently placed the fone on the charger.
