Anyone try EBC Red or Yellow Stuff pads on their SC?
Anyone try these pads? I have been researching them, and they seem to significantly increase braking power, and reduce brake dust. I am wondering of the effect of them with a set of SS brake lines on the car?
I know Peter Scott races with the Green Stuff pads, and if I recall correctly, seems to be quite happy with them.

You'll eat through red stuff quickly at a fast track (like Road America), but they are very civilized for daily driving. Yellow may be better, but I think the car is too heavy for EBC pads on the track. I use Green for DD. If someone is using Green's on the track he is a lot easier on brakes than I.
Carbotech Panther + are better, but you'll also go through them if you drive fast and brake hard at a fast track. The lasted 6 days on shorter tracks + 2 days at RA (with brake ducts). They are OK as a DD but they can be a bit noisey and dusty. A new set of Red went away in <2 days at RA (before brake ducts).
All of the above was NA. I''m now NA-T and will be trying Performance Friction 97's.
O yeah, all of the above is with supra tt brakes all around. I'f you are taking the car to the track GET THEM at least on the front. There are sets for sale here and supraforums all the time. Brake ducts are also important.
