It also clears the GS430 with engine cover too.

And most importantly, I think there is enough space for EDFC.

Give Steve Ganz a call for more info.

Cool....but if you wait too long...it may be out of stock. I think Carson ordered only 20 of them....not exactly sure.

For those who got them....lets see the pics? Is production finish the same or different from those posted up earlier?

The outer parts where they mount to the strut is kind of like a light blue color. The bar is chromed out. I might actually paint the outer parts black or have them chrome plated also.

PHML, when installing the strut bar, do you take off the nuts and the ring, or what is the procedure on installing it.

Finally received mine today, just got done installing it. yes, it's blue like the RVM rear STB. i kept the ring due to the fact that i had no choice. with the ring one, it still shy of clearing the edfc by maybe 2mm. w/out the original ring, i would think it might damage the edfc in the long run, sorry i can't post any pix right now. i'm at my parents. the comp is way too slow and it's dail up. , funny, mine wasn't chrome, it was polish. i would wish it was the original finish as posted on carson website. brb. it's now time for a test drive.

I thought I cleared that up in post #83.

I'm no painter. I'm afraid if I spray painted it myself it wouldn't last and would look like crap.
I guess I'll have to take the parts to a body shop and have them painted black or grey

I just cant bolt a baby blue part onto my dark green engine bay.

it's not shiny as the RVM blue but matted instead. you HAVE to take out the factory RING inorder to close the hood, those that have the EDFC will have to take off the rubber cover. it will stil touch the bracket but should be okay. without the ring, you can close the hood but it will still touch the lining of the hood. as for the any differance in performance, i didn't feel any. but it did what i had intended/hope it would do it that it prevented my EDFC from rotate freely. so i'm happy
