i like the color on your car.. what color code is it?

also, decent drop on the coils.. give it time to settle and you should be fine.

lastly, how hard is it to take out and install the coils? i've taken out suspensions but not on an SC before.. just wanna see how hard/long it'll take before i venture out and swap my suspension out

It's not too complicated on a Soarer, I did mine too when I fitted my Espelirs.

Those D2 coilovers look very purple Remember to keep us updated on the ride yeah? Do you know what the spring rates are on these? Just curious as I heard of them for the first time today on another website lol

Im not sure of the code, but its the factory Silver Spruce.

Yeah, im just waiting for the settle period, the rears have dropped to less than 1 finger gap, but the fronts are still a 2 finger gap. Im gonna see about lowering it to have an even spacing all the way around this weekend.

As far as removing and reinstalling the coils. It was definately easier the second time around. The fronts are a PITA. Taking off the splash guards and washer fluid res.(driver side) was proabably the most tedious part. I think it took more time to remove and put back the splash guards and res. then actually jacking up the car, removing all the suspension bolts and suspension itself, replacing the strut assembly and all the bolts. It really isnt so bad. I did it by myself in a parking lot and only took about 3 hours or so (w/ help to remove struts).

Its day 3 now. The ride is surprisingly getting stiffer as the springs settle a little bit. I wish it were a little stiffer, but that is just my personal preference. At the soft setting these feel almost stock-like.

I dont recall the spring rates off hand, but i'll let you know. D2 offers custom spring rates of your choice so i guess its even up to you what the spring rates are .

Looking good PJ, its me Brandon (SliderSC) changed my screen name. I know about Evolution meet this saturday, i am getting my do-luck sways from them.
I had lunch with David, when you first mentioned him, i was like who, but then he mentions you so you know the rest. Anyway, there is a drift event in richmond this saturday as well so of course i am going there than some car meet. Let me know when you get back in N.VA area again, we'll hang out. I am thinking about getting some new coilovers myself, i really like my hipermax II's but for drifting i could use more stiffer suspension so i am looking into purchasing Hipermax D's which Taniguchi and Ueno use in D1.
Car looks good, what else have you planned purchasing it?

Yeah, i really wanted the hypermax II's but they are WAAAY out of my price range. Im slowly piecing together a turbo kit. I have a turbo and FMIC, just gotta get the other stuff . Hopefully when i go home for the summer i'll be able to boost my car. I'm contemplating on driving out to Richmond to watch the drift event. If i can get some people to come along, just so i dont have to drive all the way, i'll be up cloverleaf on staurday. Actually i'll be going home on 4/15-4/17 to go to Formula D in Jersey that weekend. If you're going to that, may be we can caravan up there. I may have to drive the other Lex (LX). I think i have a crowd going with me... hehe.

I am not too sure if ill be going to Formula D, since i wont be drfting there, i think its no point of going there and watch people drifting and having fun, it would be unbearable. My SC is not quiet ready yet for FD, maybe next year when i do a 1jz swap and put a roll cage in it.

could you slam it to the ground and take some pics?

I'm trying to pick some coils that are within my budget but they need to go very low
