Spring Compressor Tool???
I was planning on purchasing the L-Tuned springs and shocks, but was wondering a couple on things:
1. What kind of spring compressor tool should be used? I read one post that the tool from AutoZone was nearly impossible. Need to know from you DIYers what works the best.
2. Is there any good DIY instructions that you guys can point me to?
It's way too are not to get rid of the float in this car for $300!
Thanks for any input that can be given!

Your best bet is to have a shop do the spring compressing for you. The springs are super strong, and the normal POS spring compressors don't work. You may be able to do it with a clam-type compressor, but I'm still doubtful...

Check out this thread. http://www.seloc.net/modules.php?nam...showpage&pid=3
I took my spring-shock assembly to a local shop and had them do the swap. They charged me one hour labor. It was worth it. Those spring compressors you are talking about are junk.
And the l-tuned springs and shocks will get rid of the float.
