tmf, I got the cross drilled rotors in the rear as they will match the cross drilled rotors I have in the front and they will match my next mod I am doing also I also went with the EBC pads because of less dust they create and good reviews from other members.

The gold color on the rotors is just a coating and will wear off after breaking the brakes in, or shortly there after. Plus I am going to paint the hats either black or silver with some G2 paint so it is less noticeable.

Pretty sure the gold coating is a cadmium protective coating, it will wear off of the braking surfaces, but not elsewhere, which is good. I'd paint the hats black instead of silver, looks good IMHO.
EBC touts their dimpled rotors as being less susceptible to warping from complete cross drilling, which supposedly removes too much material, but I don't exactly hear everyone that has cross-drilled rotors complaining.......
