Gotta bring this old thread back
I am now deciding on my next mod to do. I am stuck between the stoptech bbk and getting the wald kit. When upgrading to a bbk is it necessary to install stainless steel lines for the rear also, and does that come with the kit? If not where can I get it from and how much? Also what is a good wheel to use as a spare that is rather inexpensive? I have heard about the G35 wheel that is not too expensive. Which would you do first, wald kit or bbk? I also have a rather unsightly rock chip on my hood that bothers the S^#@ out of me. The only problem with the wald is that a few vendors I talked to said the wald kit is hard to come by right now. Give me your opinions and advice

1. The SS lines are part of the fronts.
2. It is not necessary to upgrade the rears but it is recommended. I think Bitkahuna did his fronts and recently did his rears and he can tell the difference. Still, he was on the fronts only for awhile and it was fine.
3. Wald vs StopTech? Both are good upgrades. So you want form or function?
The kit will transform the look of the whole car. You'll smile when you see your car. BBK won't be as drastic but you'll smile everytime you step on the brakes.
4. G35 18s will probably be your best bet for a spare.

Thanks Neo. Always great with the info. A shop I talked to about installing these said they charge around $400 to $450 for the fronts. I know this is quite high compared to what some other members told me. Anyone recommend a shop in the Sarasota/Tampa area?

i agree mostly with neo. definitely get ss lines for the back as well. just another 100 bucks, that's nothing. for the install, i think 400 is definitely on the high side, but that's again regional. for spare, yes, i think g35c 18s are a good choice.
and wald or brakes. just ask yourself, do you think your car stop good enough now> if so, then get the kits first
and yeah i heard that wald are harder to come by now
