Default Big Brake Upgrade with 16" wheels - German SC400 engineering!

hello from Stuttgart, Southwest Germany!

i have just equipped my SC400 with Aliga's famous calippers and they fit behind 16" wheels!!! i still have about 7.5mm space towards the spokes and 5mm in diameter outside of the calippers!

i have now travelled 1000 miles with the new brakes and they still get better every time i use them! they are 100% better than the stock calippers. this SC400 may be the first in Europe ever that is equipped with proper brakes!

i attach a picture of my car with OZ Opera 16" rims, i guess they are 16x7.5 ET40 and those are sold as the LS430 winter wheel set for the "old" LS430.

i hope i could help,

George / Germany

At first I though you got them behind the OEM rims ans was like . It makes a little more sense now. It's good to know that the Opera's can accommodate the LS calipers.

Congrats.

i had to fill in a phrase to make you answer. good to know there are some other SCs that are going at 100-140mp/h fairly safe.... there are enough around that DONT brake very well. haha.....

Default huh?

Not sure what's German about the engineering- OZ wheels are made in Italy, and you have a Japanese car.

Never been able to see another SC in Europe. I am 140mph -155mph zone pretty often here in Italy, Brakes work good. Wish there were more members here in Italy
