Hey guys, how much improvement in handling can you actually tell?. Ive reserched this quiet a bit, so far ive been told that a bar from a toyota supra will fit the gs with minor modificaton. I should be gettin the bar tommorow so il post on how it goes.

 

the trd bar will only fit the v8, it won't fit over the gs300 i6 engine, not even with engine cover off.

and braces help on handling but not drastically. coilovers, sways, those help the most, then these are just addons

i wonder this bar will fit over the gs430 engine with cover?

 

well i was driving around, and it did change the handling, currently i have tein ha(stiffest setting) right now, + strut bar, it god rid of body flex, and defitly better handling
i tested out at 57n to 60 turn, hehe(my favorite turn) i didn't get the rear strut bars yet, it's coming in saturday, as soon as i get installed i'll put some more pics up

the bar was going for $50 bucks 2 months ago on ebay, now the guy wants $100 . its a taiwanese company that makes it, prob obx or some other generic brand, but the guy sells the rear bar, but it need to be modded to fit,

 

Nice mod! Look's sharp. Do you notice a huge difference in how the car handles now? How about the ride?

 

Since you avoided Rominl's and my question whether it will clear the engine covers....I assuming it won't.

well the dsr bar is made in hong kong or china as well, so that doesn't mean bad stuff right the way. as long as the finish is good and it fits well it's cool i guess

 

it should clear cover for 430, the ebay bar is exactly the same except not painted red,, they had a pic of the bar on a gs430.. price have doubled since then to $100 fot the bar,

 

the strut bar i got was not purchased from ebay, and there is no need of modification , if u need an evidence i'll provide u guys install video -.-;;. and personally i don't like to put cheap ebay stuff on my car, maybe the one u got was from ebay, but this isn't.

 

this is the exact one on ebay minus the color,, the shape and style of the post and bars are exact! i wouldnt say ebay stuff are cheap beacuse that bar is being sold on ebay $100 w/ matching rear bar for under $60 shipped all day long, the front stb use to be $50 last month.
do a search on ebay and compare the bars they are exact , except for maybe the price difference,
the seller will send you a pic of the bar on a gs430 with the engine cover so that you will be reassureed that it does clear the engine cover.
ps. i dont have that bar on my car because i saw it on ebay for so cheap,
