Default Tein Basics Installed w/Pics

I finally got my Tein Basic coilovers in from Carson Toyota (Thanks Steve). Those guys are great to deal with. It took me about 2 hours by myself with the help of a lift and air tools at my friends shop. The ride is definitely stiffer than stock, but it's amazingly smooth considering the drop. I got the Teins for $660 shipped to my door and I used my stock upper mounts since they were in really good shape. I didn't take any pics of the install because there are already a few 'How To's' here, but I do have before and after shots.

Before:

And After:

Oh no, it can go lower. There's 1 1/8" left of threads on the strut all around. It's also going to settle some more over the next few weeks.

looks much better... I think the height you have it at now is perfect. Not too low and not too high

Mine on our on now too. Sorry if I'm jacking your thread haha
The fronts are a real pain in the butt. rears were cake

took about 4hrs with no air tools. You can go very low with the basics, at first I had the front all the way down and I could barely put a credit card between the tire and the fender !

I have about 1 finger gap all around which is perfect for me. Ride is firm but liveable for daily driving.
