oh ok... that helps a little. Im just trying to eliminate the gap for when i get the rims. Should i drop it first or get the rims first. I dont want it too low and i dont wanna bounce around like those **** civics lol also do i have to get different shocks?

I have coilovers, its great for adjustability. For example, if the city roads are too harsh for you, a few clicks and your suspension is softer. If you want to raise or drop it, go right ahead. My friend had eibach's on stock struts and it was so harsh that he eventually swapped it out for coilovers. Springs range from $200-$300. If you add aftermarket struts, the prices jump to almost the level of coilovers. Coilovers range from $700 and up. It all depends on what you really want.

nysupraman, the Espelirs dropped you 1.5"? Hrmm... mine is dropped at least another 0.75" on the same springs.
You'd probably be better off getting Eibachs, the Espelirs (going from mine) make the car sit pretty damn low.

on the main subject, if i could do it all again, id go with rims first to judge how much of a drop i need. i would also do it to eliminate the "ghetto civic bounce." but i eventually knew i was getting rims so its all good. but boy was it ugly wit drop and no rims! bounced like crazy, had to get shocks and the car looks like it was nasty tucked. and the car was much lower with no rims, i had major scraping with drop and no rims, if i went the other way around i would be fine, because now i hardly scrape at all, driving carefully that is.

iight i kinda got a picture in my head....i looked up coilovers, theyre expensive. Oh by the way im cheap lol but would i have to get springs if i just pick up c-overs? Since they looked like to have springs with them. Or would the cheaper alternative to get the eibachs and shocks(have no idea which thou)
