Default HELP!! Front suspension making grinding noises

Actually there are two separate problems:

Front: there's a double click/snapping sound when I brake from a slow roll. It only occurs when braking from a slow roll. Braking from an off-ramp for instance, I won't hear/feel it. Pulling into a parking spot, I do. It sounds like a light metal on metal tap-tap.

Rear: sounds like there's a snapping, and sometimes grinding sound in the rear. It sounds like an old hinge creaking on a heavy door. It's coming from the lower rear suspension area. The sound occurs intermittently when the car is on a slow turn or backing out. It's very intermittent, most of the time it'll go away once I start driving +10mph...

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Perhaps lower control arm bushings?

Control arm bushings were replaced about 20k miles ago with Daizens. They have made noises in the past, but not the same kind. These sounds are very mechanical

Maybe You Should Lube Ur Bushings That Might Help. If Not, Try Looking To See If The Rear Bushings Are On Properly.

They aren't bushings, I think it has something to do with the brakes...

NorCal? I think Ive seen you around town. Are you in the Sac area?

..anyways..Make sure your brakes are wearing evenly....haven't experienced uneven wear with my Sc..but other cars numerously...

Could haev metal to metal contact, which is crazy when braking..all kinds of weirds sounds come and go.

I suggest removing your calipers and pads and look for signs of ANY metal to metal conatct.

If that is not it, then it sounds liek bushings....

Make sure you haev bumped your suspension on any low points around town...might have bent teh lower control arm...

Also make sure you check your sway bar and sway bar links...

I snapped my rear in two..make sure they are intact.

Shouldn't take more than 4 hours to figure what is causing all the commotion.

I hope this helps....
