Default Need Suspension Advice...

Been here for a while and love this place! I'm on here practically everyday reading and posting...more reading than posting...lol. I have a 93 SC4 that just turned 100K on it's original struts and springs...LCA's were replaced not too many miles ago and the rest of the suspension is in good shape...so I'm getting new springs and struts to get back some comfort...lol.
Here's my question...

I have 16 inch chrome stockers on the car and will not be going any larger than 18 in the future and that may not happen for a year or 2, if at all. My main concern is keeping as much of a Luxury Ride as possible with improved handling (even if only minimal)...and hopefully a mild drop (1 inch or so).

Sooooo...what setup should I go with to get what I want?

I have searched and read on the site about this and many other things for over a year and their are many opinions and combos out there (go figure...lol), so I figured I'd ask about what might fit my tastes, as described above. So no flaming on "SEARCH" please

Just want the opinions of fellow CL members for "my particular circumstances" I value your opinions guys so let me hear what you think. Thanks in advance

NO replies all weekend...lol

Come on, I know there must be some peeps out there with stock SC4's that have changed springs and struts.

Eibachs Pro-Kit springs will offer you a conservative 1" drop on all sides, still giving your car that bit of an aggressive stance (lower on front than back) these springs can be puchased on Ebay or other retainers at around mid 200's new.

Ebay - Search "SC300 Springs"
www.naperformance.com > Lexus/Toyota > SC300 > Suspension

Add the Eibachs to KYB shocks or Tokico Premium Performance Shocks and you'll retain a bit more handling, but you'll keep your current stock luxury or even better because you'll be replacing out your worn shocks.

The best part with the Eibachs is that you can lower it without using a camber kit - no worrying about an extra $200 or accelerated tread wear.

Hope that answered your questions

Default Tokico springs and adjustable shocks

I purchased the Supra Tokico package from forum sponser TM Engineering about two years ago. They were great to deal with, and had good advice. I have my shocks at their stiffest setting and the ride is harsh, but the handling is better. There are trade off's between handling and comfort. I recommend getting a set-up with adjustablility.
