Default EDFC error after installation..

Ok we installed the EDFC and when we went to use it we got an error code. I believe it reads EA or ER, cant really tell. Does anyone have any info on this. I did buy this used a while back from a member. Could it be defective????

Only when you use it, i.e. trying to set it or on powering up? I know it is vague but did you recheck all the wiring, connection points, ...?

Ya Neo I think the problem is when I received the edfc there were no gold hex screws, only black and youhave to have the gold ones that go down into the valve youknow. So i ordered the gold ones, hopefully that is the problem, todd at tm seems to think it is so I am entrusting him with this one lol.

Yeah, the black ones are the ones that come with the coilovers while the replacement gold ones come with the EDFC. Hopefully, this fixes it for you. Good luck.

Dude, I got that error when I noticed that the plug for the rear motors wasn't plugged in all the way in the edfc. Check your connections in the back of the EDFC. It could also be a wiring issue. make sure no cables or pinched..

i got that error too..
it was on the front and would just falsh
i came to find out that it was in the wiring,
the parts where the front attached to the wired from the back of the edfc, those plugs you have to double check to se if they clip together prop
hope that helps
took us months to figure o=i tout and 2 new EDFC motors

Welp I think I should wait till I get the gold screws then determine where the problem lies. Todd at Tm said these things were very finicky. The motor on the front drivers side just wiggles back and forth it doesnt freely spin so I think the black screws are stopping it from spinning. I will let you guys know.
Thanks for all the help.
