You got a free set of shocks?? So...why do u need another set of shocks?? If u mean u need springs the you should go with a set of eibachs or tein s-tech. Which drop the supra like one inch. So.. that will give you like a 1.5-2 inch drop.

Why go cheap on this car? For 1.75" drops on springs alone, you risk shortening the life of the dampeners. With a shorter stroke, the shock you use has to be able to take the higher spring rate, and shorter stroke.

Quality shocks that can handle that drop without hurting reliability arent that cheap. KYB AGX is ultra reliable, and handles great. Not cheap though. A good spring for that shock would be stock TT, or maybe Tanabe NF210 or GF210

stock supra shocks work perfectly fine with upgraded springs; they are perfectly capable of handling the increased spring rate and height drop

You will need to use the tt shocks in the rears as the supra springs wont fit on the stock sc shocks

I was thinking 30mm drop (on the supra) Apexi Supra TT springs with OEM Supra T/TT shocks..

Anyone know on the drop rate and if it is okay for my dampeners/handling?

Thanks!

You could go searching the MkIV boards again for some shocks; they're nearly identical to the Bilsteins that I replaced them with, alot cheaper than anything else.
Whatever you do don't go for the generic, aftermarket KYBs, they are all valved the same no matter what car they're for, so a pickup truck will have the same settings as the ones for a Civic, not worth the $ for these cars, maybe on a '72 Toyota pickup, maybe.

i believe you need the kyb's for the tt, as well as the eibach sportlines for the tt, btw how much does the sportline drop the supra and how much will it drop the sc, i want at least a 2in. drop, and what are their spring rate?
