Default TEIN basics installed

I have mixed feelings on this. I was expecting to give up some comfort for better handling. I got great handling with very little comfort left. Can anyone tell me if these get more forgiving as they settle?

they don't get softer.

If you want soft go back to stock.

Well going back to stock is out so I guess I'll get used to it. The thing I find unusual is that I had to turn up the front almost all the way to the top and the rears almost all the way down to the bottom. Does that sound right?

I am such a jackass. I put a front spring on in the rear. I'll post back after I switch it out.

Well I can't tell you what a difference it is when you install the kit correctly. It has ended up being the perfect compromise of ride and handling that I was looking for. I recommend this kit! I got it from Carson Toyota $667 shipped. Good people to deal with.

haha that was funny i was about to buy your teins in the classified section too

good to hear that things worked out.

BTW, I been researching and Carson Toyota seems to have the lowest price on Tein basics. Was that $667 shipped price some special promotion or is it their regular price that any joe can get? TIA

They asked me if there was on online price that I saw. I specified Club Lexus and I saw them for 660 and that is what I got them for plus $7 for something misc I'm not sure what.

Also if you have someone "help" you unpack your kit make sure that S1140 is in front and S1080 is in the rear. Otherwise the springs look identical.
