Default new shocks = alignment?

Ok, so I want to get some tokico blues struts but use my stock springs on my sc400 (right now i have original struts on there with a whopping 180k miles). BUT I just got a 4 wheel alignment less than a month ago. Which they set to factory settings. I have stock wheels too if that helps. If I installed the new tokico's would I need to get ANOTHER alignment even though I'm not dropping/raising it at all?

thanks for any help

I want to say no 100%, but its more like 98-99%... I'm very certain you wont need an alignment...
your ride height has not changed nor has any other major component; so no adjustments will be needed

Alignment is just a cheap insurance. It is proof for you that job was done right. I do it everytime I mess with suspension.

How do you know that Bean? Even if spring seats are exactly at the same position missplacement (turn) of the spring will afect ride hight easly.. Same with upper mounts.

I thought your suppose to get an alignment everytime you mess with the suspension becuase you can't align everything back perfectly. So you get an alignment to get rid of toe.

I had ti read your post few times before I got it but you are right. Exept for a toe, there is always some toe and we want it that way.

I always get my car realigned after any kind of suspension work, especially bc I have life time alignment so its free for me, but even I if I did not I would still go and have it redone, Its way cheaper than new tires.

yes, get an alignment.
man, it's not fair, lifetime alignment. my cousin in LA has that. you just pay a one time fee of like $150 and you get lifetime alignment. that's amazing!
