Default clicking noises in gs300 while braking

I just bought a 1998 GS300 with 150k miles and I am hearing these weird clicking noises when I press on the brakes a little hard while in traffic and pressing on the gas I sometimes hear some clicking noises .. they're very minor clicking noises sounds like coming from the dashboard or something .. I was just wondering if anyone is having similiar problems and know a fix .. the car is awesome though and runs great.

The brake pads and rotors are fine i think but i will take a look at it ... but i am not sure about the ABS .. i doubt im pressing on the brakes too hard for the ABS to kick in but the clicks can sometimes be heard while slowly accelerating as well ... and wow .. thanks for the quick reply =) ... i actually browse these forums since 2003 up until now since i have finally got my gs300 =) .. my old account for some reason doesnt work .. i think i forgot to activate it or something.

where is the clicking noise coming from? front/rear? most of the time its your pads going out... the click noise im thinking of is the noise when the piston hits against the low brake pad which hits the rotor... im not really sure what really makes the noise, piston to pad or pad to rotor, but i do know everytime i hear the click noise its time to change out pads. i think this is lexus' way of telling u its time to change out pads because i know on hondas they have the pin that squeals etc.

oh that might be it im not sure but thanks very much .... it sounds like the clicking you would hear from a switch or a relay .. and it sounds like its coming from inside the car and not outside i dont think .. i hear it very well sitting in the driver seat.
