Default Will stock Supra springs lower the SC400?

I did a search and couldn't find this info.

It appears that the spring rate is stiffer, but will the ride height be lower with stock Supra springs/struts?

Thanks!

are you sure you did a search? it's everywhere.

TT springs/struts will lower the SC by .7''

I'm sure it can vary, but my car only went down just a little over a half an inch, no settling.
But it lost that jacked-up look, so I'm ok with it.

Nope, .7" . If you want an 1", get Eibachs for the SC

so if you went with the tt shocks and aftermarket springs wouldnt it come out to be 1.4 drop then?i was wondering if a set up of tt shocks/springs in back for a .7 drop and stock sc shocks with eibachs in front... how would that ride?

Default Any comfort loss?

With that .7 drop in height do you suffer any ride comfort? Picking up a 98sc300 on friday and I would like to get rid of that jacked up look without the loss of ride comfort.

heres the primary reasons most of us go for that setup : you do get a modest drop, with better handling, a slightly stiffer ride wich alot of us prefer. And the biggest reason is you can get them preloaded with mounts ,used of course for next to nothing ($0. -$100)
However you are getting ...or already got a 98 SC so most of those used setups will probably be older and degraded so the quality level may be effected moreso than someone with say a 93 SC. And keep this in mind if you go looking for Supra parts. Supra owners are harder on their cars and thus the wear may be even worse.
I have aftermarket Supra suspension myself and the added drop and handling it gives is more than worth any amount of comfort i sacrifice (wich is minimal) . But thats my preference.
By your post , i wouldnt go with any Supra suspension . Theres plenty of springs out there made for an SC that give a modest drop, and you give up almost no comfort. and if you can swing it get some coilovers and you can play around with the settings til it feels right to you.
