you said you've replaced most everything. Have you replaced the lower ball joints? Your symptoms are exactly the same that I just remedied by changing them out.

I got the parts from Darrell at Sewell Lexus, and installed them today following the DIY I found on this forum. Drove her all the way home at 63 just because I could do it without the VIB. I can't promise that this is your problem, but I would bet that's what it is. BTW the hardest part of the install is getting the bolts off. I go tomorrow for the road force balance, and a four wheel alignment.
Anybody have the exact torque for the bolts in this project?
Good Luck

I wish
Just spent $1500 to fix this, and no improvement!!!!
Last week - repaired bent rim and had wheels balanced.
Today I had the lower ball joints done, outer tie rods, new rotors (all OEM), brake pads, alignment.
Wheel still shakes like the devil 55-65. I'm pissed.
My mechanic wants to try "hub bearings" - whatever those are. I may try having the wheels balanced again - I have no idea where I can get road force balancing, though.
I don't know - the shop manual states other causes for steering wheel shimmy include worn shocks, and steering rack problems. I hope it's not the latter, though how to even tell!!?

I know the earlier models (98-?) had a bad rack design that was revised and replaced for free by many dealers. My tech at Lexus told me about it and Rominl had his swapped free via dealer.
