Default TT shocks made by Tokico?

is the stock TT shocks made by Tokico is it any good? im buying some use one off a tt supra come with stock springs too, another question is this ready to go like just bolt on without any problem or modifaction? lmk thx guyz im buying it for 100 bucks good deal? he got 80,000 miles on it... lmk wat do you guyz think i should do?

80,000 miles.. not worth it.

well depends what you mean by "last". Sure they'll still work, but at 80k miles they're probably damn worn in by now especially if it was a supra owner since they drive a bit more rough. By now they're a bit spoungey I'm assuming.

But if your stock struts have even more miles than that, you want the drop, and you're doing the work yourself I'd say go for it. But keep in mind you're going to have to replace the struts again in the not too distant future.

A lot of stock shocks for most cars made by tokico.
80,000 miles is too much, just get the new ones.

if you're going to be redoing/upgrading your suspension why take a step back? granted these are an improvement on your shocks but not by much, you'll be replacing them again in a short while, just shell out the extra 125 or so and get somethin nicer. my .02 worth

ahhh thx guyz i appacatied i have a stock struts right now and the miles is at 106,000 miles on it......well i was going to plan on buying it with some stock supra spring and upgrading it to eibach but you guyz say i shouldnt...

When i say get new ones, i meant dont buy used crap just upgrade it.

Word, those shocks are cashed, I got 4 brand new TT shocks for about $230. Just gotta look around

yep, best be patient than get jipped. i picked up a set of eibach pro/kyb agx adjustables last week for 290 w/ 300 miles on them.

everyone gets all gitty and excited with parts, lol. at least i do, especially when the UPS guy comes with new parts (aka "brown santa")

I have Tokico Illumina's for the TT and they are bad azz,.... get those...
