Check the nut at the top of the coilover that sticks through the engine bay and make sure it is tight. Also look for the rubber piece that sits below the EDFC and make sure that is still intact. This happened to me and had to have my whole coilover replaced

Here is a link to the thread I started:

There are pics also on page 2.

The new coilover was $449 shipped from Todd and included the spring. I could have reused my spring from the damaged coilover but decided to buy the whole unit. Now I have an extra spring just in case.

I just had it installed last saturday and next week I am going to take it to have it adjusted. It did settle but is still a tad bit off.

I have the UGO CF stb. I am thinking about buying one of the rear stbs that are floating around CL.

Just do it. Complete the upper box. They are not made anymore so you will always be at the mercy of the availability of the item in the used market.

No. I thought about it before but after Dave showed that you can have a modest system while keeping the STB in the trunk, I was very happy to be able to keep mine.

You can also see if Jay will split up his set in the classifieds.

This was next on my list after I have decided not to do a trunk setup. I would love to complete the UGO theme
