I was thinking about lowering my car with H&R springs. I was curious how it rides and how much the actual drop was. Someone told me that it was 1.4 in front and 1.3 in the rear. Once the springs start to settle, does it stay at that height, or is it a little bit lower?
I also plan to use my stock shocks and suspension with these springs. How long can I go on using the stock shocks since I'm not usin stock springs?
Thanks in advance.

It should actually ride better than stock if they are installed correctly.
I don't know anyone that can tell the difference between a 1.2 drop and a 1.4 drop, if they can they are crazy.
If you actually feel that you can tell and you are that concerned about it you probably shouldn't lower your car because you will keep finding something wrong with it.
