Rich, if you have more concerns or just want to be sure, please call StopTech - I spoke to a guy Matt there who was REALLY helpful and pleasant. I can tell you want to do it just right, so maybe a call to StopTech would put your mind at rest before you slam on those brakes.

You know what Paul, that is a great idea. I do want to do it right so I can enjoy these brakes for a long time so I will give them a call before Friday, when they are being installed. Thanks for the idea

The bed-in process is the breaking in of the the brake components. You wouldn't go out and accelerate a brand new motor of a car to 130mph when it's cold. Why would you do it to the brakes.
The key thing to the bed in is to heat the pads up enough to transfer a layer of pad material to the rotor. we recommend doing 10 deceleration events 60-10 with no breaks in between. Then cool off the brakes. While cooling off the brakes, be sure to not come to a complete stop with your foot pressed down on the brake pedal applying pressure. Let the car roll to a stop. If you do come to a stop sign and have your foot pressed on the pedal the pads will leave an extra layer of pad material in that one stop giving you that warped rotor feeling.
Cool off the brakes by driving the car around lightly using the brakes. The faster you drive, the more air get's pushed through the rotors. A complete bed-in consists of 3 sets of 10 decelerations. They do not have to be done back to back with the cool downs in between. Just keep in mind that if the car is not driven aggressively on an everyday basis that the pads and rotors have a tendency to un-bed themselves. That's whey they start to squeal and make noises. The cure is another bed in.

1 more question guys I promise. I had them installed yesterday and I was driving home and had to step on the brakes a little hard there was a thump-thump noise. I havent had a chance to bed them yet, I will do it tonight, and I was just wondering if something was wrong with them, or is there something I can do to get rid of it? I dont really feel it when I brake but you can hear the noise.
