Default Brand of Strut Tower Bar Important?

Hi,

Anyone care to comment on whether there is any real difference between the Otto strut tower bar that is offered at luxurymods vs the JIC strut tower bar? Is it worth paying double for the JIC one?

Thanks a lot and I appreciate any advice and comments.

I haven't heard of Otto before (I am in Australia). Personally though I wouldn't skimp out on suspension and chassis bracing (from experience)... I'd stick with a more well known brand name. There's quite a few that I've seen for the Soarer (or SC300, not many for the SC400 that I know of). JIC Magic, Veilside and Cusco to name a few

I would not care too much about the brand, i would first consider the design and built quality.

So you only added a strut bar and it helped noticeably? Did you have any other upgrades? Also, did it require you to get longer bolts or anything? Thanks man.

the guys at luxurymods helped with the install, direct bolt on. i also have brand new LCAs so that helps. once coilovers and wheels come you will get the full effect. every part helps another.

strut tower bars is one of those things that brand doesnt make much difference. There are options as to how it is mounted such as 3 point or just your standard 2 point strut tower bar.
