i hear this is fairly complex and hard to do. i'm sure when more people gets this done, we'll know the complexity of this procedure.

well...pressing the bushing will be tough...even with the right tools.

when i removed my bushing i had to air chisel it out it was not easy by a long shot , but knowing how much thought Daizen puts into all their designs i know it will be well worth the fight

These sound awesome... Not sure if I feel comfortable paying $500 for labor though... can we just take out the control arms and bring them to TM engineering? I can understand that these bushings are a real PITA. I know its not nearly the same, but I changed the u-joints on my POS '94 bronco and that was a full day job of pounding with the hammer...

Anyway my question is this... if I intend to get coilovers soon, should I wait to do the entire thing and then get the alignment done?

i would do everything and get alignment done once only

you can probably get the control arms over and have tm engineering change the bushings, though i think big chuck of the labor would go to changing the bushings too

My GS rides fine, its just that I have the braking shudders as well and I don't think its the rotors... we'll let's see what the wife thinks... after all it is her car

note, please do NOT pay attention to the color. i believe all the final bushings are in black color.

pics are taken for the pessenger side front suspension.

this is the caster arm. the red thing is the caster arm bushing that's changed. this arm is also called the strut rod

this is the lower control arm bushing that's changed (notice all the grease put on)

this is the upper control arm, and i am pointing at the bushing changed. there are two sets of bushings at the top (one on each side), and they are both changed out)

henry

on the lower control arm bushings , does the kit come with the mestal inner sleeve the has the teeth in it.. the teeth are part of the adjusting process for camber.. looking at the kit on todds website i dont see that part and its not removeable from the old arms

henry or todd please explain, thanks

OKAY GUYS JUST GOT MY KIT TODAY.. my wife treated me to the kit so

i removed the bushings from the old castor arm today at home , i pressed in the new bushings at home with my home made hydraulic press .. the bushings are extremely well made .. they fit tighter then you know what .. fit was perfect like a glove..

i am going to swap the arms tomm for i still have my newer ones on the car..

todd i need this question answered please

the oem lower control arms inner sleeve where the bolt goes through has teeth on either end of it ... the new sleeves have no teeth , please explain how is the adjustment cam going to work..

i am going to do the upper bushings over the weekend and want to eventually do the lower bushings but want this answered first

henry can you help out
