Default Rear brakes service...

Dealer says I need new rear brakes (down to 2mm at the moment). I want to buy the parts myself...do I need just the pads or do I also need to buy the spring clips/anti squeal plates?

Thx.

i think you can stay with the same old ones, but they are cheap so you might just as well get new ones

hahaa, it's good to stay in between

for the record though, when i changed the rear pads on my gs, i did not get the shim and fit kits. i just used the original ones and just applied those "glue" or "lube" stuff and just put them on. works fine
