That is what is more comfortable for me. I have used all different settings and this one seems to be the best all around. I used to keep it at 0/0 when I had the WIN kit because the kit was so low. There really isnt that much of a difference in ride as the 0/0 still is pretty comfortable. I also put it two clicks softer in the rear because of the recommended settings in the manual. Not sure if it needs to be like that but it works for me

Stiffest in the front (all the way clockwise) and 2 clicks from the stiffest in the rear. The ride is still very nice and it corners great!

I have mine set at 10 front and rear (which is 6 clicks from the stiffest as I have no EDFC). The ride is still very comfy and it handles great IMO.

alright, so it sounds like I'll start between 6-10. I'm thinking probably at 8

how's that sound?

just a question for all u tein guys out there... when changing the settings, should the dial be set to the max setting (0), and then go backwards? or can u just start from wherever u were set at?

also, is there something to tell u that you've gone past (0) or (16)?

The best way is to go to stiffest which is full clockwise. (The nut should stop once you get to full clockwise.) Then back it up from there. If you go the other way, it will NOT stop and you will not be able to calibrate. According to the instructions, you will damage the shocks if you go too far counter-clockwise.

That is the point. It does NOT stop at 16. This is why (if you are unsure in any way what the setting is) you go all the way clockwise to close the valve. This is stiffest. The softest is 16 clicks counter-clockwise from the close position. You can go beyond 16 but it is not recommended. According to the instructions, it is actually harmful to go beyond 16.

For another point of reference, the EDFC unit calibrates the same way. It goes full close to get the only reference point it can get, then goes to your desired setting.

yup he is correct ... i have the SS and they have a total of 24 clicks if you count them, but your suppose to go all the way clockwise (which is what it is when it comes from the factory) and that is the 0 setting and thats the starting point.

i have mine at 8/8 right now but i'm installing my edfc saturday and i'm most likely setting up the 3 presets as is:

1 - 0/0
2- 6/8
3 - 14/16

there's another thread about this exact topic here also...
