Default about tokico blue struts

i seen a lot of you guys use tokico blues. i was wondering how is the ride with your springs and the blues? i heard that tokico blues are just about the same as stock oe struts. also, compared to kyb gr struts, how big r the difference as in smooth and sporty (still have that luxury feel)?

I have Tokico Blues w/ Espelir springs. They are quite stiff - no where near OEM shocks. Especially on the harsh roads of NY. Although Cali may be better.

i have the same set up as well, and i admit that the set up is pretty stiff, but still has some luxurious but not much, i don't know how it will feel with just the shock, but if i m u, i will change the springs at the same time since u r taking them up already.

Not pertaining to a SC, but...I had blues on a gsr integra w/ eibach springs, and the ride was real nice.

I've got Tokico blues and Eibach Pro springs. The ride is still very nice when taking it slow and cruising on the highway. However, when I want to go quick on the country roads around here, I don't hesitate. When coming out of a corner with some speed, as long as I do it right (you know, out-in-out, don't let up going through it, give a little more pedal starting at the apex, etc etc) there is very very little body roll and still feels pretty smooth. I wouldn't call it luxury, but it is definitely smooth.

on smooth highway roads, they are GREAT. On pot-holed ridden city streets, they suck ***.

I agree with Kilo, I have the Tokico, eibach combo and on rough roads, they suck...

Default they aren't spectacular

i put the tokicos on my sc3 and on the highway they are fine but on city streets especially around jerzy and here in newark i feel an amazing difference from the stocks to the blues one is it feels like no matter how big or small the dip or whole is they feel almost useless like there is no shock , and mine are new they been on all of two weeks, but with the drop i have and the look im going for they are great compared to my peoples hatches, tegs, and eclipses. I say if you dont mind an almost luxurious stock ride go for ummmm.

If you look at the warrenty for the blues it says you cannot lower the car and keep the warrenty. kyb agx's allow for 1 inch and konies for 1.5 the reason they feel perfect is because the valving isnt matching the ride height or spring rate. i've ridden in a few different shock setups on sc's (3 of my buddies work at lexus) that were customer cars and i think a more agressive shock helps the ride out considerably. But thats just my oppinion....
