In-cabin adjustable suspension
I have been reading various reviews on sc300 and 400's such as this one http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_0062/article.html they all talk about standard air suspension that is adjustable from teh driver seat. do you lose this ability when lowering your car on aftermarket suspension?

They are talking about the Active Suspension on the UZZ32 or the stock air strut on the UZZ31. Both of those models were not sold in the States. Only Japan. Some guys in Australia imported them.

That's a review of the Soarer, not the SC300/400. The USA SC300/400's never had that sort of "airbag" suspension. Interesting article, though- it says "Braking is another area where the Soarer excels - its standard ABS system ...stopped the car with an absolute vigor".

That was a review of the UZZ31. The JZZ30 and UZZ32 have bigger brakes than that
Here's a pic of the buttons (in-cabin adjustment). It's hooked up in mine and you can feel a slight difference between normal ride and sports mode but it's nothing like a proper coilover set up. So you can call it something like an OEM-spec EDFC hehehe
