Default definitive coilcover comparison

I failed to find a good comparison between coilcovers. Smoothness is a must, but so is good handling, as I am a very spirited daily driver and occasional racer( will be more than occasional once i get a good suspension). Someone mentioned that HKSII s are just a bit stiffer than stock. Would these be my best bet for comfort oriented coilcovers? My price range is 2,000. Thanks

Somogyi,

Welcome to ClubLexus!

Unfortunately there is no way to do a 'definitive comparison' because each individual's tolerance for a stiff suspension can be quite different.

I'm sure many members are itching to tell you to 'use search' as this topic has been discussed many many times. If they do, I ask them to link you to their favorite thread about coilovers and tell the keywords they used to find the thread in search please.

I'll link up a couple for you here in a second.

Found these looking for keywords 'comfort coilover' in the SC forum

Found this searching for 'coilover comparison'

PLEASE try search before posting questions, you'll find that 95% of what you have to ask as a new member has already been asked many times before. Instant answers, no waiting

The Tein CS is a great setup. I have it.

My only concern is that you want to blend comfort, spirited driving, AND RACING. What kind of racing? Track? Drag strip? It always turn out that the guys who are into racing and handling has a different take on what comfort means. They usually can handle (and like) a little more stiffness.

It comes down to which criteria is the most important (which means compromises need to be made in the other areas).
