DOES AN AERO KIT DROP A CAR ANY? HOW LOW WILL IT BE WITH SOME SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS? ANYONE HAVE A AERO KIT AND LOWERED SPRINGS? NEED ADVISE!!

 

Yes, Aero kits (body kits) does lower your ground clearance (the amount depends on the kit...) Most people who have kits also lower their car...but you have to drive the car very carefully. Going up and down driveways, over speed bumps, etc., etc..needs to be done with some care...otherwise, you can damage the body kit...

 

well, an aero kit lowers the line of your car, but your car itself isnt any lower, if you want a lower ride, get some sport springs and shocks and it will feel alot sportier.

 

I hate springs if you want the perfect drop go with coilovers..

those kits are fiberglass, but i think its a very high grade fiberglass, so its not just one of those kits that will crack if you kick it or something. i believe those kits run in the 3k range.

 

when i say the bodykits are bad, i mean they are very sharp!! bad-***!!! i have gone through 3 front bumpers made of fiberglass so i thnk i have just had some bad luck with them...maybe i should be more careful!! but thanks for the info!!! erick

 

the PIC in my sig is not my car ,it will be in about 8 months the signature kit if I recall cost 28 hundred
and wel werth it ,I've talked to many people with kits that came from erbuni and they all say the same thing..

If you own a lexus and want a quality kit IMO buy it straight JAPAN or any other place rather than erbuni

 

ErickGS3 - Which bumpers did you have? Low quality fiberglass kits (like Erbuni, VIS, and any knock-off kit) usually sucks.

In case you're interested, my buddy is selling an ENTIRE front clip off a JDM JZS14x Turbo Aristo (includes EVERYTHING like the engine, turbo, intercooler, fenders, hood, grille, lights, firewall, all electronics, etc., etc... and even the dash so you can do a complete right hand drive conversion) for $7000.

 

That's a nice price for all that,engine, turbo basicly everything ^ front.
How many miles are on the engine? how much do you think it would cost for the installations ? would I have a problem with putting the signature kit on and could I drop all that in a 93 GS
