Hello, I just changed to Vlamos front LCA and steering bushings and the car does drive better (this is a 1992 SC400 with 230k miles). But I noticed that, after the first couple of weeks, there are more noises coming from the front of the car, even when I go over small irregularities on the road. It never made noises before, even with the original bushings, which were shot. Is this normal, or does some other part of the suspension need attention, like the shocks? Thanks for any help.

Because you upgrded the bushes and got them right, now the other bushes that are worn are making noises. You will need to replce them as well. Only other issue is if the Vlamos were not installed correctly.

Check it out, and you will figurre it out...

i would make sure the car was on its wheels before the bolts were torqued down. if they were not, you may be already stressing the new rubber in the bushings.

What he just mentioned , and that the alignment needs to be done right in order to have the ride be decent; the added drag of having the wheels toed in excessively can cause a thunk sound as well.
