Hi,
I have a 93 SC400 unmodified. When I drive around 20mph, I hear a rattling noise from the right side of the car near the front? It even rattles at Neutral (around 20mph) and when I brake it disappears. The only thing I can think is that I cleand my disc brakes a few months and ago and might not tighten everything right?
Any suggestions

I have 2 95 SC400's. The cat's heat shield on both of them started to rattle just as you have stated. Only just when you take off and sometimes at idle.

My solution was easy! Take you car to and exhasut shop and they can weld the loose heat shield so that it will not rattle. This is a fairly common trait of all cats and any exhaust shop should be able to do it for cheap. ($20-$30 if that)
