Default Rebuilding Coilovers?

Hello people,

I've got a set of Kei Office coilovers laying about from my old Soarer. Now, 3 are still OK but one has a dead shock, and quite frankly the ride is rough as guts (very stiff spring rates).

I was thinking of rebuilding them... revalved to suit Aussie roads and softer springs for a smoother ride.

Do you guys think it's worth the hassle or should I toss em?

Cheers

Jose

if the rebuild/revalve/buying new springs costs more than half of the coilovers i would just go new and get a less agressive setup. otherwise i dont see why not, it would be a good utilization of the parts you already have.

You may have to take one apart to help to investigate all of your options, be careful as they are likely under pressure, except the dead one.
The hard chrome being worn off of the shaft looks bad, maybe you can install a more reputable brand of shock inside the housing, Bilstein perhaps.
Just a thought.
