To begin with, I drive a 95 SC300 with 103500 miles. Well yesterday this popping noise began in what sounds like my passenger side suspension. When I hear the sound I can also feel it with my feet through the floor of the car. I am not sure where this is coming from and my mechanic couldn't diagnose it quickly on friday before he had the leave work. The sound seems to have gotten worse as I drove the car today. It began when I would turn the wheel to the right. Now I can hear (and feel) the noise when I go over bumps. I can also move the steering wheel back and forth and hear the noise. I searched for popping in the suspension, but all that I read seems to suggest the LCA busings or some bolts that may be loose. Any other ideas on what the popping noise may be?

ball joints, shocks, wheel not being tight, sway bar endlinks... all of which can make popping noises. you might need someone to walk next to you while you drive over bumps and potholes to see what it sounds like. at a minimum jack it up and check out all that stuff and see what looks to be worn out. good luck.
