the improvement should be pretty big. the car should have a lot less roll.

and i am not sure if it's going to help the vibration at 65mph though. that's more like tire balancing and control arm bushings

1. do they make noise? (ie. squeeks, creaking)

2. how is the handling compared to the oem bushings?

3. do the make the ride more harsh?

4. any other problems come up after installing these bushings?

thanks in advance
I did the OEM bushing replacement on my SC400 and was going to do it on the GS 400 as well. After talking it over with Todd I decided to do the Daizen sway bar upgrade on the GS instead. The replacement sway bars because they are larger in diameter than stock have their own bushings included in the purchase and since they are Daizens you get a polyurethane bushing like the ones for $30 that is sized for the larger sway bars. So when you get the sways you are in fact upgrading both the bars and the bushings at the same time. As to how they compare: the bushings alone make a subtle but appreciable improvement in handling but less than lowering with new springs and shocks would acheive. The new sway bars on the other hand make a dramatic improvement especially in cornering and handling probably more than new shocks and springs would cause.
To answer the questions you posed:
1. when properly lubed no noise as compared to stock.
2. as stated above a subtle improvement but worth $30
3. No change in ride quality. Even stiffer sways will not adversely affect unless you go overly stiff ie. such as a full race type sway bar.
4. Have not experienced any negative effects in either vehicle attributable to stiffer sways or poly swaybar bushings.

Rom is right, contact Todd first by email or phone to set up a time to meet. He is essentially a one man operation and does not keep 9 to 5 hours 6 days a week. Best to make sure he will be there when you show up.
BTW, when I bought my sway bars from him and he was doing a timing belt change on my car, he installed the sways for no charge. That was a nice added touch I thought.

I just bought the sway bar bushings too. Next weekend's project. I am anxiously awaiting the anouncement of the NY or DC control arm bushing trip by Todd. I'm not sure of any shops in the area that I trust to do that job. I may end up mailing mine in, but I thought that install back on the car was part of the challenge with the control arm job, No?

I sent an email and got a reply from Todd at like 1:30AM EST. I had already ordered from Sewell, but it does seem that he will respond at all hours.
