What pads to use with TT Rotors?
Just got some Rotora Supra TT rotors and was wondering what the best pad to use with them was. Tried to search but have no luck finding anything.

When I had TT calipers, I used EBC Greens and the car stopped much better than stock. These pads are not agressive, but a very streetable pad.
I like the Hawk as well, which I tried on my other car. It appears to have better grip.
There are more agressive higher performance pads out there, but most will eat up your rotors faster and may dust a lot. The EBC greens were very soft on rotors, but the red versions will not.
What trade offs are you willing to live with? Do you do a lot of milage and daily driving, or limited milage & weekend agressive driving, etc.?
Last note, historically the Greens did not dust. I used them for over 5 years now on all my cars. I just put greens on two of my cars this month and am now seeing more dust than what I expect.
Not sure if they changed the formula or what.
One of my recent pad changes was on a brand new car with 500 miles on it. I replaced the pads with EBCs, cause the new rims we bought were getting a lot of dust from the stock pads. The rotors are still stock too. The dust level still appears to be the same as stock pads. I'm hoping the dust will settle after the first 500-1000 miles.
We'll see.

for the record, the hps on my ap racing has the same amount of dust as the ebc. i wouldn't say the ebc green has no dust. i still see them after extensive driving and especially if i go hard on the brakes.
also, the dust we "see" has to do with wheels. if your wheels are maintained well, smooth paint, possibly some wax and so, then you are less likely to see dust coz' they "slip" away. but otherwise, good luck on wiping your wheels. my experience is that stock wheels are pretty good at trapping brake dust coz' the surface usually aren't close to as smooth as the aftermarket wheels i have

Yup,
also the dust is light gray so it doesn't showon polished and doesn't stick as well. Atleast it's not that black BMW/Mercedes dust you see.

Thanks Glen and Henry.
To answer your question Glen, I am just using it as my DD and just drive around work in. No crazy driving (well sometimes) but just want a good pad with not too much brake dust. Maybe i'll check out the EBC greens. Let me know.

On the EBC greenstuff, do those only come in the organic compound or ceramic also? All I see on sites are the organic. Thanks. Also, where is the best place to get them? Carson said they didnt have any for the Supra?
