can you write & snap pics of the work in process when you build your front speaker assembly? if you can, a sencil would be great for us who will be upgrading to 6.5 speaker up front. i assume you're going to use the stock mounting points?

Lexus + Xbox = Lexbox
The Xbox will color-matched with the interior pretty soon. Kind sticks out like a sore thumb right now.

It turns out the wire with the white striped wire is the hot wire. I didnt find out the hard way though, I simply busted it open and by following the circuit I figured it out. I knew it was the hot wire because the trace ran through a capacitor and they only run on the hot side. I had a small condensation issue that was easily fixed with some pipe tape. The camera only works when I am in reverse but very shortly I will add a diode to prevent the signal from backtraveling and making the reverse bulb light up while I am in drive.

Speaker plate
New speaker plate using 3/4 MDF. I got away with using the stock screws because I used two different sized bits. I use a 1/2" bit to let the bolt ssit inside the wood and finished off with a smaller bit to allow the end of the screw to reach the stock mounting locations.

Goodies for the rear
Pictured: This is a second JL Audio XR650-CSi component set for the rear. JL Audio 4-channel set of RCA's. And of course, another 20ft of Stinger 12ga HPM speaker wire. The RCA's must have come from a retail shop because there is a sticker that says $119 for the RCAs but Ebay was very kind at only $68. I needed more RCA's because I will finally be adding the AudioControl Four.1 EQ/Line Driver to the system. I just hope I dont blow the stock 10", its doing great so far with 150w RMS.

And here is the final look of the rear component set. I would have liked to mount the tweeter higher but do to the slight curve at the top of the door panel I felt it would be best to mount it where you see it. The flash has exaggerated the color of the plastic but its night time and I wanted to share my progress.
