20x9 +30 with 255/35/20 and the rear is 20x10.5 +29 with 285/30/20.
What do you think of this setup?

I have 20's on my ls400 and it was rubbing the top inner plastic. I wish I got 30 series tires. I ended up buying the rubber spring spacers for $10 and now it rarely rubs. I am happy with my $10 mod.

I've tried searching but could not find the proper keyword combination.

If putting "Dubs" why not just leave the stock suspension? People say to raise the car, but if you've dropped it, why not just go back to stock? Sorry if that's an idiotic question.

Just take out the liner. evenr tho the harness is there the liner isnt going to stop the tire from hitting it regardless it will just chew thru the liner and mess up the harness either way if its that low. or just get coilovers and make it super stiff so it wont bounce up.

235/35/20's on the front with a little fender roll will allow enough clearance to put Daizen camber adjusters in there. Very very minimal rub at full lock and flexing up my driveway before fender mods on Espilir ASD's. No rub in the liners.

EDIT: I think I have an 8.5" front wheel though.

I have the exact problem you are having as well with the wheels eating away at the fender walls. I have 255/35/20 and not sure what the offset is. I just bought the car 2 weeks ago and these rims were on it. Would the Tein coilover shocks help with this problem? Also, the springs I believe are stock, so they have probably softened over the years; would stiffer springs help? The only springs I can find drop at least an inch.

maybe try heating the plastic with a heat gun and get the plastic soft enough to shape by your self and just push it back so it'll clear between the tire and plastic, and when it cools down it'll stay in the shape since its cooled off..kinda like a mold.hmmmm.

^^^^^ lol
I want to do that all the time, but catch myself,
Turbodremz: do you right now youre sitting on tt eibachs/wheels, do you think you'll rub if you go 1" bigger rims with slightly wider offset?

Thanks
