Did you make sure you tightened everything including the top strut nut?
Hope it's not a "busted strut mount?"

That's why I'm glad you took my offer to come take a test spin in my car when they were still installed. Like I mentioned, it seemed to make that noise only during low speeds going over things... but it doesn't make that noise when you're on the highway

anyhow, looks great!
(I'm back to stock height, new tires (ones before had camber wear) and I love the STOCK suspension! haha)

well it rides like stock because ur still on stock wheelies

i can guarantee if u upgrade to something with low profiles you will feel the difference between flexes and other coilovers.

what projectors are u using? how come it looks like theres more lighting shinning behind the projectors?

Kind of like a banging popping noise. It sounds like the strut mount/pillowball mount has gone bad. Although the sound is there, the handling is not affected in any way. I might have to send it into Tein to get it checked. BTW: I bought this set used from someone else, so the previous owners might of driven it a bit too hard Good thing Tein charges about $100 per rebuild, so its not too bad.

Well of course it is stiffer over bumps and such (only 20-30% more though), but the ride stability has a huuuge improvement over stock. Where the stock one would be floaty at times, this one is pretty much flat. I'm not sure about some of you other guys with the older suspensions, but my stock suspension was pretty rough over big bumps. Mabye Lexus beefed up the suspension for the last year or two for the 2nd gen?

Oh, also I managed to beat my friends BMW 330i sport on the skidpad. According to the Escort G-Timer GT-1 I pulled 0.94G's with just this suspension, still using stock sways and of course stock tires/rims.

DFW area.
.94g's WOW nice improvement

Yep My friends tell me that the lighting on my car is overkill....I have no idea what they are talking about
On the "bright" side(no pun intended), I can drive very safely at night in places where there are no street lights. When I hit the high beam of the Bi-Xenon, I can light up stuff about half a mile down the road

Well, as you said its not so bad at high speeds(me = travel @ high speeds most of time). I'm already used to it, but my mom isn't as appreciative of the harsh ride. I usually take my mom and my sister around town, so I might have to get rid of this set and get some Tein CS. I'm still deciding(very hard decision), but don't be surprised if this set goes up on the classifieds for trade on a pair of CS

Yea, I think that 3" of tire flex helps dampen the bumps a bit . My friend is going to let me borrow his BBS 19" tomorrow to see how my car rides. heh....
As for the lights, it's a set of Hella Bi-Xenon projectors. It is used in BMW M5, Audi RS6, MB E55AMG. I built this set of headlights myself, so there was pretty much unlimited customization. I put a gap between the shroud and the housing so there would be a ring of light around the shroud. Gives iit the Halo effect, but just much much brighter.

Yep, I was actually pretty surprised. With those numbers...in theory I can keep up with a M3! Well thru turns, obviously not after the turn . My friend is gonig to let me borrow his BBS 19" tomorrow and I will try to put down an even better number
