Default USDM v.s. JDM tein coilovers?

i know this seems like a stupid question, but are there any differences between the USDM tein SS coils and the JDM tein SS coils?
i read somewhere that the JDM SS coil spring rate are around the same as the CS teins.
is this true?

Places like the Car forum can pass around bad info. I think if you want un-tainted information, try actually calling Tein for specs on their coilovers.
