Default Gawd the brake dust!!

Hey guys...I noticed the IS350's have some serious brake dust issues. Do you know of any solution to reduce this other than spraying off the dust every few days?

Cool

Don't drive the car....leave it in the garage and you won't get the dust.

Seriously it will dissipate as you get more miles on the car. You get that with new cars. I don't have a solution. I wipe it off every couple of days to avoid build up. Front ones are much worse than the back ones.

Yeah just wipe it off every few days... that seems to work best. The GS430's nice because the magnesium wheels are darker so they don't show brake dust quite as much, but I definitely laugh every time I see this X5 around the neighborhood that has black front wheels and aluminum rears

I'm at 4,600 miles and the rapid brake dust build-up on the front wheels is still quite signifigant.

The dusting is horrible on the IS350. I have Hawk HPS pads made for street/autocross on my WS6 and they dust less than the IS does!!

It's a pain, but atleast the brakes are good.

Good to know I'm not the only one w/this problem. I used to laugh at my friend's 350z's black front wheels but now I'm in the same boat.

I also hate the brake dust, but I found that keeping the front wheels waxed helps shed some of the dust, and makes washing it off much easier.

P21 is your best friend. Don't let that brake dust stay on your wheels for long, you must clean those wheels and this stuff makes it easy. I've been using this stuff for 6 years now.

What about a pressure washer ? That would probably work

No just like get down on your hands and knees use some soap and water and clean your rims till they shine.
