Default SC4 Carbing STB, eye candy coming soon

here you can see both the JZZ3X and UZZ3X bars on the page(also price)
http://www.okuyama-go.to/products/st...03.html#soarer

for those that are wondering about how much... just divide the Yen price by 110 and then plus S/H(my friend checked it in as a luggage and freaking JAL charged him $100US since it is too long.... And PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO HELP YOU GET ONE! I'm not a vender, lol~). Yes, it is not a cheap bar, but it is the only 1 piece STB for UZZ soarers. Forget about hindged STBs, something that is suppose to strengthen the body of your car should not have movable joints. Would you ever buy a roll cage with hindges?

This is the one that I got, welded all aluminum 1 piece, it's freaking light(my hand says 2~3lbs including the packaging materials, manual, and 6 washers). Please note that it does not come painted, it is bare aluminum like the one that roo has. Also, the mounting bracket is different and does not come with master cylinder stopper.

Pics will arrive soon, I've already taken the pics but I forgot the log in pw for my company's website My car is still in the body shop due to an accident but I should be able to get it back withing a few days, I'll report fitment by then.

P.S. I ordered this piece back in Oct or Nov of last year, the lead time for the factory was 3~4 weeks.

just FYI...pin joints are very effective at linear loads (which is what you have through a strut bar)

why do you think "no edfc"? Looks like more than enough room to mount the modules there...

I just got the one with Brake booster stopper...I'll post here as well tomorrow

really?? that would be super nice if EDFC can fit, more $$$ trouble for me

the version with MCS was specific for JZZ applications, let me know if it clears the 1UZ, if so, I'll hate myself a lot

I took some time to look at roo's bar again, I think carbing has changed the way they mount the MCS to STBs. The MCS on their online catalogue looks like a screw on type, while roo's looks like is sticked on or velcroed on. Guess there is still hope for the UZZ model
