The spring rate is a little higher than that of the sport package suspension, but I cannot give you exact numbers at this time.

As for those asking about the drop. I'm pretty sure that you can add another 0.5" to what the stated drop is because they dropped it an inch from the sport package. As for bounciness, it's about the same as a sport package on dunlops. For the almost 3 months I've been on the preproduction springs I haven't felt any real difference from when I had the stock sports suspension.
Wait a minute, so this pro-kit will actually drop the non-sport package IS350 1.5 inches in the front? I only want to drop the car no more than 1 inch and Eibach is misleading people if they do not specify that the springs were referenced from the sport package. I would only consider the 1.5 drop if combined with a shock kit.

Can any body with a non-sport 350 verify that the pro-kit drops the car only 1 inch and not 1.5.
The first time I saw viet658's car, I thought the drop was more than 1 inch. Since his car is non-sport, did it really drop 1.5 inches then?

From what I saw on my car, it definitely does not look more than a 1" drop. My car is the luxury model so it doesn't have the sport suspension.

Viet, was there enough adjustability with the stock suspension pieces to bring the alignment specs back into spec after the drop?

Looks real hot! I was waiting for this thread all night long, then i fell asleep.

Seems like a very nice subtle and even drop all around.

Still trying to figure out the whole drop issue. I know remember pinoychris' photos of his car with the prototypes, and it definately looked lower and had the "raked" look. But then again he has stock wheels, and you have aftermarket. *shrug*

Looks great either way!

Has anyone bought the H&R's yet?

I will look into if they did anything different to my springs, from what they told me it was a 1" drop all around, however the production kit might not drop the rear as low since it's stated 0.8". As for the difference in the way it looks, it's probably because he has aftermarket wider rims.

its different, cause i guess the 250 is higher than the 350.

go checkout their website

I guess Eibach is using the same springs for the IS250 and IS350. Since IS350 is heavier than the IS250, the IS350 drops more.

They have to be using different spring rates.

The IS350 is 3,527 lbs

While the IS250 RWD Automatic 3,435

The IS350 is 92 lbs heavier than the IS250. This isn't much. Besides, Eibach states the IS250's drop is significantly lower.

The wheel shop didn't mention anything bad about the alignment so I assumed everything was okay.

Hey Viet.. I have an is250 and was thinking about 20" rims with the eibachs. You think It'll rub with the springs for the 250?

With the correct tires and wheels offset, they won't rub

The tint shop called it GR 30. I'm not sure what percentage that is.

five it caple of days to let the suspention parts to settle.

You might gain a bit more drop when the spring settles, than take the car for an aligment.

nice drop tho, I like the rear drop a lot, front I might want a bit higher.

road condition here in Taiwan is just nasty, I need a bit more clerance in the front.
