Default My First Brake Job

Well I just got finished doing my first brake job ever. I put on all new Rotora slotted w/ Akebono pads all the way around. I read many posts, pestered people, and bought some tools. I wish I would have tried it baout 10 years ago. Everything seems to be good but there is defintely a scraping noise from the rotors sliding against the pads. Is this normal with brand new pads and rotors untill they wear down a bit? No squeaks or rattles just scraping. No more rusted rotors behind my rims. Thanks a ton to everybody that helped me out. I would have never tried it if I didn't find CL.
