$200's gotta be way off. I think they're screwing with you, or trying to screw you since they know you're beating the hell out of the car. Out of curiosity I asked about a 4 wheel brake job on the GS430, parts and labor they only wanted $400.

I payed $470 for the extra service plan that replaces the brake pads, headlights, battery, windshield wipers, with no charge. Good for 4 years. Best upgrade I made at the dealer.

If you want I can purchase the pads for you tax free plus 20% off of dealers listing price.
Thanks anyway, i found another dealer to get them at.... Problem is, its going to take 3-4 days to get the pads in, so no driving my IS till then... I'm driving my Crown Vic right now, i kinda forgot how much fun it is to drive these barges.

I dont know if its the best upgrade.

I dont own a IS yet.

But I do have right now a 2002 Toyota Highlander V6 and had various other toyota models. The Highlander has 80k miles on it with ORIGINAL pads. So I think the $470 would be a waste. At least for me it would be.

Are you the one that peeled out from the dealer lot, and changed new tires at 300 miles?

Aside from brakes pads, headlights shoudl be covered under the 4yr warranty (at least bulbs are). Pretty sure windshield wiper might be as well. Not sure what the warranty is on the battery, but it might be 2 years.

2600 miles and needs rear brakes and a few sets of tires. How many times have you replaced your front pads?
Yup somethings wrong with this picture and a real Tech should know.

Umm... I power brake quite a bit... If you couldn't figure that out.
And its mostly at the track, or on my property. I might be stupid, but i will never let my stupidity injure somebody else.
