i've heard ans een when ppl get realy good pads that are strong.. and have some type of metal init.. that if u get onthem a lot it will actually do kinda the same thing as resurfacing the rotors....

I've watched VVTi turn rotors, not sure how they can turn dimpled/slotted rotors.
THe machine basically looks like a giant record player and it "surfaces" the rotor, treating it like a record.

I would imagine it would just get stuck in the dimples/slots of an aftermarket rotor.
