I actually started a thread about this on this subject a while back. Many give when someone spends ~$6000 on a set of HRE's and tires and those same people bash BBK's because they're too expensive? Not to mention that those wheels and tires will actually hurt performance, ride, etc., but that doesn't seem to matter.
Really the point is, if you don't have something nice to say, move on to the next thread. Negative comments don't really add anything useful to the conversation. If you absolutely MUST say something, keep it simple - "I don't like it for me." or "Not what I would choose, but props for the work you've done."
Otherwise, it just turns into a complaint fest.
I haven't commented in this thread for a reason. I have my own opinion about brake mods based on my experience and the comments I would make don't bring any value to the discussion. So I leave it to others to debate.
Suffice it to say - there are visual performance mods and mechanical performance mods. We entertain both here because we have people from both schools posting in this forum. It should be obvious to the mechanical crowd who the visual crowd is, and it is pointless to tell them their mods are "worthless" because they're not. They satisfy someone's need to stand out, even if it's a purely visual (or sometimes audible) thing. There is no right or wrong here, just different approaches to solving different problems.
